The older Steven Seagal's movies. When he was thinner.

What is the best martial arts movie?
KUNG-POW! all of my friends including myself think that it is the best movie ever!!
Reply:Titanic
Reply:i liked "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" hope this helps, i havent seen many martial arts movies tho
Reply:Bloodsport

"If he is truly Tanaka he can show us the Dim Muk" "Whats a Dimmack?" "Death Touch!"

Close second would be Iron Monkey.
Reply:Kung Fu Hustle.

-Jackie Chan
Reply:Rush Hour is soooo cool/ it's got quite a bit of martial arts.
Reply:Twin Brothers

that was the coolest movie ever. the only problem is that they speak chinese (but you hear english of course). Everything was real it was awesome
Reply:My favorite was either The Protector or Ong Bak. That dude is awesome. Jet Li and Jackie Chan's cool too tho.
Reply:Without question it is Ong Bak.
Reply:Anything with Bruce Lee!
Reply:crouching tiger hidden dragon
Reply:I am not sure about of all time but recent best martial arts movie in my opinion are crouching tiger and hidden dragon and fearless.
Reply:i think the movie with the most amazing martial arts fighting scenes was "Fearless" with jet li.
Reply:If you want pure 80's kick-*** training montage martial arts movies, the best are: "Bloodsport" and "Best of the Best"

For more recent ones, Ong-Bak and the Protector have good action but the story lines are worse than terrible......the guy flies to Australia to save his elephants? come on, I could crap a better story line. Tony Jaa should pair up with Quintin Taraintino (did I spell that right?) then that would be the greastest film. Perfect action, perfect story.

Fearless was a realy good one too, haven't seen one that good for a while. Then there is "Hero", "Crouchin Tiger Hidden Dragon" and "House of Flying daggers"

And of course the classics, basically all Bruce Lee films except for "Game of Death", only the ending is worth watching.

But yeah, I think I will always like the 80's martial art movies the best. Oldschool Van Damme ("Kickboxer", "Double Impact", "LIONHEART")

However to answer the question the greatest martial arts movie ever made has to be my all time favorite, (1984) "THE KARATE KID"............Mr. Myagi is the ultimate master!
