It's a 1980-1990's movie, where a high school teachers takes a bunch of students and shows them this dancing type of karate. a song used in the movie is "pana naweh" or something similiar to that. It would be really appreciative because i've been searching for this movie for the longest.

Does anybody remember the name of this movie with dancing martial arts in it?

In addition: this art is called "capoiera" and is actually a Brazillian martial art that was developed by the slaves some time ago as a form of defence against attacks. In order for them to practice it on the sly, they created a genre of music to go with it, so it appeared to the uneducated that they were performing a very stylistic dance. Marc Dacascos, the star of the film, is not actually a practicioner of capoiera but learned all the specific moves for this film. While he is a champion martial artist, he does not practice this particualr type on a regular basis. He was selected for the role based upon his appearance, and the fact that he does have a martial arts background Before auditioning for the role, he took some time to learn the basics in order to impress the producers.
